Meet the DenturistJason Ioannou was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario.
He achieved his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 2005 and went on to earn his Denturism diploma from George Brown College, in Toronto, in 2008. Since graduating from George Brown College, Jason has been practicing denture therapy in a busy private practice in the Kitchener downtown core, providing quality denture services directly to the public. In October of 2023 Jason opened a new clinic - KW Dentures - and has been providing denture care from that location ever since. Jason is a member of the College of Denturists of Ontario, the Denturist Association of Ontario, the Denturist Association of Canada and the International Federation of Denturists. Jason actively pursues any opportunity to further his knowledge by attending many continuing education courses and seminars throughout the year. This allows him to keep up with the most cutting edge methods and procedures which he applies to his practice to the benefit of his patients. Out of the office, Jason enjoys spending his time with his wife, daughter and son, fishing, boating, taking day trips, playing with the dogs, traveling and relaxing at the cottage. |

Associate Denturist
Setit Tekeste is a denturist who graduated from Georgian College’s Denturism program. She entered the field with a strong interest in hands-on work and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives by helping them feel comfortable and confident with their smile.
For the past year, Setit has been proud to work at our clinic where helping others is a shared priority. Being part of a supportive and hardworking team has strengthened her skills and deepened her commitment to providing care that puts patients at ease. She is a member of the College of Denturists of Ontario (CDO) and the Denturist Association of Ontario (DAO), and continues to learn and grow in her profession. Fluent in both English and Tigrigna, Setit is able to connect with a wide range of patients and make sure they feel heard and understood. Setit takes pride in creating a welcoming space where patients feel comfortable asking questions and taking an active role in their care. She believes that clear communication and a friendly approach go a long way in building strong relationships. Outside the clinic, Setit enjoys travelling, spending time with her family, cooking, and finding cozy cafés — always in search of a great cup of tea. |

Reception - Office CoordinatorTatiana was born and raised in Brazil, where she graduated from the international business program with the dream of moving to Canada.
Since emigrating to Canada, Tatiana attended the dental hygiene program in Mississauga and has since found her calling in dental office administration working in various dental offices and clinics. Greeting people with a friendly demeanor and a genuine care for those who need help is Tatiana's greatest strength in her role at the clinic. Outside of the office, Tatiana loves to spend her time with her Husband and her two children. Both kids keep her busy with their passion for taekwondo, which they excel at, competing in tournaments both at the local and international level. |
